The small wing on the one end that pivots measures 1-3/8" long - The width is 1/2" - The center to center screw holes on the wing are 7/8"
On drop front desks, stay mounts to inside of desk while swivel foot attaches to drop front. In chests, stay mounts to inside of chest and swivel foot attaches to the lid.
