Desk lock with self closing strike.


Round corners (oval shape). Ideal for Roll-top desks, as well as other types of desks and chests. Steel mechanism and case. This lock is a modern development for the old roll-top desk lock and has an advanced mechanism that enables removal of the key from the lock also when in the unlocked position.


Selvedge (lock plate), strike plate (trap door) and 2 keys are solid brass. The Selvedge and strike are in antique brass finish.


Lock case: 1-3/4″ wide , 1-3/8″ high , 5/16″ thick


Selvedge (lock plate face): 3-3/8″ long X 5/8″ wide - Center to Center Mounting Holes measure 2-5/8"


Strike plate: 2-3/4″ long X 1″ wide - Center to Center Mounting Holes measure 2-3/8"


This lock is also available in lacquered polished brass finish and in flat black finish. (see pictures of all three finishes side by side)
