Black Metal Trunk Banding for Trunk Lids, trunk frames etc.


The dust banding goes around the lid of the trunk hanging down a little bit to protect from damage and dust. May be used for new trunk construction or repairs to antique and vintage trunks.



****Our black steel trunk dust banding is sold by the foot. So if you enter a quantity of 1, we will send you 12 inches of it. The rolls in the pictures are 10 foot and 50 foot rolls.It will all be cut to length for you when you order. How ever many feet you order, it will come in one long continuous roll.



1-3/4" wide x .031 gauge. (3/4" has been discontinued) 


Heavy Gauge Steel with Black Finish


Cut to the Length you specify by the foot.


This is very springy steel. To make it easier to bend or drill, you can anneal it by heating it up with a propane torch.


Please note that we coil the banding up to ship. Be very careful and use eye protection when removing it from the package or when uncoiling it, as it wants to release quickly and has sharp ends.
