About Us

We started Finishing Touch Furniture Restoration in 1991. I loved the work, and had a good reputation, but a lot of people don’t realize it is very time consuming. Around 2000, we started selling restoration products. As our mail order sales grew, we soon realized that there was not enough of time for us to continue doing the restoration work, so we changed the business name to Furniture Knowledge and have committed to selling restoration products. We still enjoy helping out the do-it-yourself-er by sharing our knowledge.
